One Minute Rave

By July 29, 2007No Comments

Here’s the announcement and the video of the One Minute Rave, held in Helsinki last Friday.

Did you know that the first Love Parade was organized by a group of friends, and it had a participation of less than a hundred people? And what happened… Now is your change to be a part of history in the making. Unity Posse is organizing the first ever One Minute Rave happening this Friday, that’s tomorrow (barely!). The rave will last from 18.00 to 18.01.

The One Minute Rave will be held under the infamous Stockmanns Clock and the party will last for all the 60 seconds in one minute. Unity will provide a highly exclusive one minute mix from DJ Orkidea and the Unity Mobile Sound System to boost up the party. All you have to do is bring your self to the spot, follow these simple instructions and party like it’s 1999, again, for One Minute. We want to keep this as confusing as possible for bystanders, so please:

1. Act “normal” before the rave begins, and
2. leave the area immediately after the music stops.

Just walk around the corner, to the Esplanadi park or wherever, to mingle with your friends. Whistles and other rave paraphernalia is recommended for the rave, but are best kept hidden until The Moment. Let’s not break the element of surprise!

This will be the beginning of a series of One Minute Raves, which will be held on four upcoming Fridays at 6pm in locations to be revealed later.

A Legend will be born, will you be one of the midwives?
