Perjantaina 30.3. YleX:n perjantai-illassa soitossa mm. Daft Punkin Thomas Bangalter, uutta Mark Knightia, Mord Fustangia, Pendulumia sekä tulevalla viikolla XmiX-dekeissä kuultavaa Claudia Cazacua. Suomalaisista edustettuna ovat mm. Marcus Maison & Will Dragen, Turismo, Kajis, Proteus uudella Skylight-projektillaan sekä viime viikolta tutut rikkobiittisankarit Sonik ja Illuvial.

Lisäksi startataan Whiteout-skaba, jossa jaossa 4 VIP-lippua Kaapelitehtaalle 14.4.2012.

XmiX-dekkeihin tarttuu kiinni suomen junkkatrio L.A.O.S. joka julkaisee näillä hetkillä debyyttipitkäsoittonsa. Haastattelussa pureudutaan albumiin ja tuleviin keikkoihin tarkemmin ja kaikkiaan 27 raitaa sisältävässä XmiXissä saadaan maistiaisia tulevalta LP:ltä.

Ohjelma on livelähetys Berliinistä.

Perjantaina 23.3. YleX:n perjantai-illan kaksituntisessa tarjoillaan jälleen koko kattaus tuoretta klubimusiikkia. Soitossa mm. Paul Oakenfoldin uusi biisi, kotimaista soundia Funkhameleonilta, Something Goodilta, Phase Onelta ja Sonik & Illuvialilta. Lisäksi otetaan katsaus Camo & Krookedin uuteen albumiin sekä L.A.O.Sin tulevaan pitkäsoittoon.

Lisäksi startataan Knife Party -kilpailu. Jaossa on 4 lippua Knife Partyn Helsingin keikalle 6.4. Samassa yhteydessä julkaistaan viime perjantain Thomas Gold -kilpailun voittajat.

XmiXissä levyjä kääntelee tänä perjantaina saksalainen Thomas Gold, joka saapuu pääsiäistorstaina tähdittämään bileitä Helsingin Fredan Tivoliin. Goldin tuotannot ja remixit muun muassa Axwellin Axtone-labelilla ovat taanneet, että miehen musiikkia on soinut lähes joka ilta kaikilla maailman merkittävillä klubeilla viimeisen vuoden aikana. YleX:n perjantai-illassa 16.03. kahlataan jälleen läpi täyslaidallinen elektronista musiikkia. Soitossa mm. Daft Punk, Stardust, Swedish House Mafia, Marco Bailey, Arno Cost, Dennis Sheperd sekä suomalaisista Turismo, Jesse Oliver ja Alex Kunnari. Lisäksi soitossa Viikon Uutuus ja Viikon Vinyyli vuodelta ’96.

Lisäksi startataan Thomas Gold -kilpailu, jossa on mahdollisuus voittaa VIP-liput Thomas Goldin keikalle. Gold saapuu Helsinkiin Fredan Tivoliin 5.4.2012.

XmiXin ottaa perjantaina haltuun valtavassa nosteessa oleva suomalainen dubstep-artisti 501. Playground after hours are always worth visiting and being the unofficial Pacifique afterparty, it was pretty clear it’s going to be off the hook. Flink had already the groove on when I arrived and it was easy to continue where he left off. I’ve lately been into a bit more technoish stuff so I left most of the tech-housey tracks off this time and offered some pretty dark and gloomy techno tunes instead. And boy, did they go down well… Brilliant night and awesome crowd. Looking forward to the next visit :)

Maaliskuun ulkomaisten artistien XmiX-sarjaa jatkaa perjantaina ruotsalainen elektronisen musiikin moniottelija Marcus Schössow. Marcus pyöräytti kasaan eksklusiivisen miksauksen Suomen klubikansaa varten ja tarjoili täyslaidallisen trancen ja housen välimaastoon putoavaa soundiaan. Marcus nähdään livenä Tampereen Stellar City -tapahtumassa viikon kuluttua.

DJ Orionin ensimmäisellä tunnilla kuullaan ensisoitossa JS16:n comeback-biisi Rosegarden 2.0., paljon toivottua jenkkiduo Oliveria, Eric Prydziä, Camo&Krookedia, Tony Jaguaria, remixattua 90-luvun Enigmaa sekä Viikon Vinyyli 20 vuoden takaa vuodelta 1992.

Ohjelma on kuultavissa jälkikäteen Ylen Areenalla viikon ajan.
