Se fiilis! Mun Absence of Facts (@absenceoffacts) -teknolafkan ensimmäinen vinyyli on ulkona ja kaiken tän digihöyryn keskellä vielä käsin kosketeltavana. Sulkeuduttiin viime tammikuussa legendaarisen ruotsiteknon kummisetä Cari Lekebuschin kanssa viikonlopuksi studioon ja laitettiin kasaan kaksi raitaa hillitöntä groovee.

Ja joo, tässä sulkeutuu myös melkoinen ympyrä: haalin 90-luvulla omaan hyllyyn kasoittain ruotsiteknoa ja Carin julkaisuja ja fiilasin Tampereen teknobileissä herran raitoja isosti. Tuntuu täysin uskomattomalta kelata, että 20 vuotta myöhemmin päädyttiin monen käsittämättömän mutkan kautta tekemään yhdessä vinyylijulkaisu.

Jos haluat omaan hyllyyn yhden kappaleen suomalaista indieteknoa niin arvostus on suuri. Mahdollisuuksia on kovasti – Helsingistä löytyy levykaupasta, mä lähetän Bandcampin kautta mihin vain ja ulkomailtakin voi tilata. Osoitteessa www.aof.fi on kaikki.

With more than 22 years in the business, Absence of Facts head honcho Orion joins another undeniable trendsetter and tastemaker, long-term techno heavyweight Cari Lekebusch. With Helsinki meeting Stockholm, the result is a groovy, hypnotic two-tracker.

“Absence” is a growing and banging yet funky, squelching piece of uncompromised techno while “Presence” is for those deep, trippy moments in the early morning hours.
