This Saturday I’ll be playing at Kempten’s Parktheater, one of the biggest clubs in Allgäu area, South Germany. The club looks awesome (see the photo above) and the mood and music are very German, especially on these house/techno based nights. Local DJ hero Alfredo will be warming up the decks and I’ll be on around 01:00 for a two hour set. See you there! ;)

Tiistain Tanssi-illassa 21.07.2009 kuullaan koko tunnin mittainen Tom Middleton -retrospektiivi. Middletonin kommentein varustettu kokonaisuus esittelee chill-outista deephouseen musiikkityylejä säveltäneen miehen ja paljastaa mm. miten Tom aikoinaan tutustui Aphex Twiniin ja päätyi muutama kuukausi sitten remiksaamaan Orbitalin Halcyon-klassikkoa.
Retrospektiivitunnin ensimmäinen puolisko liikutaan chill-out- ja funk-henkisissä tunnelmissa ja toisella kolutaan läpi house-saavutuksia mieheltä, joka tunnetaan oman nimensä lisäksi myös aliaksilla Cosmos, Jedi Knights, Global Communication, Chameleon ja Link.

Love Story #1 – The Event
Some say that first love is the strongest. And it really did feel like it on our opening night with Pete Tong. 1300 people came together and created a vibe that will stay with us forever. The red dance-floor resembled a beating heart, that pumped life for a beautiful summer Sunday.
The second LOVE will be held on an historic night in Helsinki. On the 6th of August, 90 000 people will see the iconic Madonna performing in Finland, for the first time ever. The whole country will be listening, watching and stepping into the groove of the Queen of pop.
Warming up the crowd at the concert is another legend, Paul Oakenfold. After being voted the worlds best DJ twice, holding residencies in some of Europe’s biggest clubs and headlining festivals, Paul headed to Hollywood in 2001. In 8 years he has worked on major soundtrack projects, production work for the worlds biggest artists and the best club residency in America.
With the full support of Madonna’s label ‘Warner Music’ and her tour organizer ‘Live Nation’, the people of LOVE are ecstatic of being apart of such an historical day. Mr Oakenfold will be headlining the party, supported by the legends of Finnish electronica. This will be the last LOVE event of 2009 and a classic closing to an amazing Summer.

Just a short note before leaving Finland for one month.
It just got official – Brotherhood will be remixed by DJ Taucher, an oldskool German trance talent, who also visited Finland back in the day, playing at Labyrinth Summer Sound System.
I just got a preview of the track and it’s really something you could expect from someone who is one with his roots: the remix sounds like ’94 Eye-Q trance, it’s hypnotic, bubbling and energetic – something you’ll rarely hear these days – a combination of fresh and 15 year old sound. Needless to say – this puts together the package really well: a trance remix from Ayleon, prog house from Flight&Jontey, prog trance from Anton Sonin and an oldskool interpretation from DJ Taucher.
Some other good news, too. I’ll be playing at Parktheater, Kempten, Germany on 25.07.2009. I’m really looking forward to this – Parktheater is among the biggest and best looking clubs in Allgäu area, I’ve visited the place a couple of times and the place never failed to impress me. Check the video for a better look of the interiors.

Tiistain Tanssi-illassa 23.06.2009 biisivieraana kuullaan Helsingin Mixxed-klubin taustalla vaikuttavia Niko Geselleä ja Tony Profondoa. Herrat pyöräyttävät biisin verran kesäistä klubi-iltansa trademark-soundia ja kertovat viime hetken kuulumiset Helsingin kesäklubilta.
