YleX:n Perjantai-illan muokattava Spotify-lista on kasvanut valtavasti viimeisten kuukausien aikana. Koska kuka tahansa pystyy lisÀÀmÀÀn listalle musiikkia, muutama perusohje on hyvÀ muistaa.

“YleX – DJ Orion” is a collaborative playlist of Finnish National Radio’s Friday night electronic music shows. Anyone can add their music to the list and to keep things rolling smoothly these are the things that should be taken into the account:
1) Don’t spam. This means adding only your own music to the list or adding full albums or your full discography to the list. Nobody wants to listen that kind of a playlist. You wouldn’t. Don’t do it.
2) The admins of the list will choose tracks to be added to the top. Please do not put your tracks to the top of the custom ordered playlist. If you do, they will most likely be removed from the list.
3) To keep the playlist fresh, most music will be removed after 14-15 days on the list. If your tracks were removed, you may add them again if they feel still relevant.
4) All the above are common sense stuff. We want to keep the playlist open for everyone to introduce and promote good music. However, your music is not more important than anyone else’s. Keep it that way – don’t spam it.
5) However – we want to give extra visibility for new music on this playlist. New releases from this collaborative playlist are being added to this playlist every 24h.

It’s a rare treat to get a guest mix invitation without a time limitation. It felt great to just pile up tunes, see what fits and go until it was a time to wrap it all up.
