YleX:n perjantai-illassa tyhjennetään kuormasta jälleen aimo annos uutta elektronista musiikkia. Soitossa mm. Deadmau5in Weekend-keikalla pyörittämää soundia, tuoretta Fred Falkea, uusi Jaytech-sinkku, tamperelais-oululainen Lope&Kantola, Oakenfoldin siunaama Disfunktion, Oliver Heldens, Moderat ja Viikon Vinyylinä annos RMB:tä.
Ohjelmassa julkaistaan myös Time Tunnel -kilpailun voittajat.
XmiX-tunnilla laitetaan päälle teknovaihde, kun Candyland-klubin isäntä ja Vaasan kasvatti Concha täräyttää täyslaidallisen erittäin tiukkaa tech-housempaa ja deep housempaa soundia. Mieheltä kuullaan myös viimeisimmät kuulumiset Helsingin yöstä.

YleX:n perjantai-illan viimeisellä kaksituntisella otetaan ensisoittoon uusi Lennon EP, tuoretta Duke Dumontia, Pryda, Grum, kotkalainen Holle, Super8&Tab, otetaan katsaus Porter Robinsonin uuteen albumiin, tsekataan tuoretta remiksiä Palefacesta ja Detunedin uudet drum’n’bass-rytmit. Startataan myös Time Tunnel -skaba, jossa voit voittaa liput sekä huikean palkintopotin Pohjois-Suomen kovimpiin elektronisen musiikin karkeloihin.
XmiX-tunnilla laitetaan päälle täysi hönkä Tampereen DJ Wispyn parissa. 29 raitaa 50minuuttiin änkenyt Wispy on tuttu näky niin kotikaupunkinsa kuin pääkaupunkiseudunkin dekkien takana ja miehen haastattelussa kerrataan Tampereen tämän hetken klubihulinat.

Vaikka elokuu on koittanut, YleX:n perjantai-ilta pysyttelee vahvasti kesäfiiliksissä. Uuden klubimusiikin saralla napataan soittoon vahvasti pakkaa hämmentävät versiot Will Smithin ja Liemisen biiseistä, klassikko-osastoa kesätrancen suunnalta, vahvasti rantafiiliksissä liikkuvaa housepianoa ja parit uudet drum’n’bassit.
XmiXin valtaa tunnin verran omaa tuotantoaan esittelevä Lope&Kantola. Tamperelais-oululaisen kaksikon tuore biisi päätyi vasta australialaisen Energy FM:n soittolistalle ja herrojen XmiX sisältää kauttaaltaan vielä julkaisemattomia tuotoksia EDM:stä tiukkaan, kesäiseen housesoundiin.
