Helmikuun perjantai-illat aloitetaan YleX:llä uuden tanssimusiikin kattauksella. DJ Orionin ensimmäisellä tunnilla soitossa mm. Skrillex, Super8&Tab, DJ Orkidea, Timo Juuti & Hector87, 501, Muffler, Shato, Turismo ja vain 16-vuotias tulokas Madeon.

Toisella tunnilla dekeissä on kiinni lupaavimpien suomalaisten DJ-tulokkaiden joukkoon City-lehdessä nostettu Tane Lee. Top Billin -kollektiivin tuorein jäsen Tane pyöräyttää vinyyliltä erinomaisen XmiXin deepimpää ja sielukasta housesoundia perjantai-illan viimeiselle tunnille.

Ohjelma on livelähetys Berliinistä.

Ohjelma on kuultavissa jälkikäteen Ylen Areenalla viikon ajan.

YleX:n tammikuun perjantai-illat päätetään isolla tanssikattauksella. DJ Orionilla ensisoitossa useita kotimaisia klubiraitoja – matkassa mm. Super8&Tabin pianjulkaistava sinkku, Maison&Dragenin uusi remix, uutta Lennoa, vielä julkaisemattomia dubstep-rytmejä 501:ltä ja uusintasoitossa Heikki L:n ja Tom Fallin tuleva raita Ordinary World.

XmiXissä tällä viikolla Suomeen ensi viikonloppuna saapuva saksalainen Jerome Isma-Ae, joka on viime vuosina kerännyt useita charttiykkösiä omaan meriittilistaansa ja noussut lähestulkoon kulttimaineeseen progehousenautiskelijoiden keskuudessa. Kurkkaa myös Facebook-event Jeromen keikasta.

YleX:n perjantai-illan XmiX-dekkeihin tarttuu kansainvälistä menestystä nauttiva Rico Tubbs. Tiistain Tanssi-illastakin DJ Infekto -nimellä tuttu herra pyörittää omaa levy-yhtiötä ja yökerhoa, duunaa omaa musiikkia ja keikkailee maailmanlaajuisesti, mutta vakuuttaa kaikesta huolimatta uskollisuuttaan kotikaupungilleen Tampereelle. Haastattelussa kuullaan, liputtaako herra Tapparan vai Ilveksen puolesta, miten Fatboy Slim ja Rico Tubbs liittyvät yhteen vuonna 2012 ja mikä on miehen salaisuus pitää kaikki langat käsissään. Ricon XmiXissä soi tunti herran omaa trademark-bassomusiikkia dubstepistä elektrohouseen, wobblesoundeihin ja drum’n’bassiin.

DJ Orionin ensimmäisellä tunnilla jälleen käsittelyssä Suomi-uutuudet. Soitossa mm. Tom Fall, Heikki L, Something Good, Jay Lamar ja Jesse Oliver sekä ulkomaalaisista Moguai, Gareth Emery, Netsky, Knife Party ja Daniel Kandi.

Warming up Dennis Sheperd & Kyau&Albert and playing for the first at Venue, Helsinki was a bliss. The soundsystem is amazing. Check the tracklist below.

Playing at Playground After Hours was brilliant, too. Unfortunately no tracklist of those early morning hours 04:00-07:00, but one particularly memorable tune was Tigerskin’s Push The Patton around 06:00. It’s 2007 tune but still works like a charm. Check the video below the tracklist.
